Portland Timbers U-23 forward Erik Hurtado, who scored a hat trick in last Friday's 5-1 season-ending victory against the North Sound SeaWolves to end defense of their 2010 USL Premier Development League Championhip, was named the league's Player of the Week for the 12th and final week of the 2011 season.
Hurtado, about to be a sophomore at Santa Clara University, ended his season with eight goals over eight games for Portland.
