Takeda Leads Host Invaders To Victory Over Summit Assault

Hideaki Takeds assisted on Daniel Moyo's 31st minute goal, then scored seven minutes later of the game-winning goal off an Alhaji Kamara assist as the host Indiana Invaders defeated the expansion Akron Summit Assault 3-1 Tuesday in USL Premier Development League play at the Invaders Soccer Complex.

Akron tied the game at 1-1 in the 34th minute when Michael O'Neill assisted Patrick Murray on a goal.

Gideon Asante's unassisted insurance goal for Indiana ended the scoring in the 47th minute.

Indiana is 5-6-3 with 18 points and is in fourth place in the Central Conference's Great Lakes Division. The Invaders host the Chicago Fire Saturday.

Akron, 4-7-3 with 15 points and tied for sixth in the division with fellow expansion franchise Hamilton FC Rage (4-6-3), will host the Rage Saturday at St. Vincent's-St. Mary's High School.
