Defender Aurelian Collin of Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City will miss the next six weeks after recovering from a non-displaced fracture of the transverse process of both his L2 and L3 vertebrae in his lumber spine, according to team officials Thursday.
He suffered the injury in Kansas City's 4-2 win over Toronto FC Saturday.
Collin joined the team in April 2011 from Portugal's Vitoria Football Club and has started 15 games this season for SKC, scoring three goals, two of those game-winners.
