Sounders' Keller Added To MLS All-Star Game Roster

Major League Soccer announced Wednesday Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Kasey Kellar has been added to the roster for next Wednesday's All-Star Game against the English Premier League's Manchester United at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ, but will not play until another goalkeeper is injured or receives a red card.

The league had initially decided not to have players from the Sounders, FC Dallas or Toronto FC play in the game, even if they were selected by fans, due to the fact all three teams will compete next week in Preliminary Round play at the 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League tournament, but changed their mind because the Sounders' first-leg contest against San Francisco FC of Panama would be played the night before the All-Star Game, while Toronto's (against Nicaragua's Real Esteli) and Dallas' (against El Salvador's Alianza) will be played the night of the All-Star Game.
