The Atlana Silverbacks and the Ottawa Fury, who went undefated in the regular season for the first time in USL W-League play in team history, will meet for the 2011 Championship title presented by Umbro Sunday at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA.
In the first of two league semifinal games, Megan Tomlinson had two goals and Jamie Pollock added a third as the Silverbacks defeated Vancouver Whitecaps FC 3-1. Tiffany Weimer had the lone Vancouver goal.
USL W-League Most Valuable Player Mallory Outerbridge led the Fury with two goals and Courtney Wetzel had another as the Fury edged the host Seattle Sounders 3-2. Joceyln Charette had a penalty kick and Justi Baumgardy-Yamada also scored for Seattle.
The Whitecaps and Sounders will play a consolation game Sunday, followed by the championship game between Atlanta and Ottawa.
