Brek Shea's unassisted 48th goal, his ninth of the 2010-11 Major League Soccer season, led FC Dallas over host Toronto FC 1-0 Wednesday in MLS play from BMO Field in Toronto.
Dallas' shutout spoiled the season debuts of Toronto's newest players -- forward Danny Koevermans and midfielder Tosten Fringa -- who played the entire 90 minutes.
Dallas (11-5-5, 38 points) is now tied for second place in the Western Conference standings with the Seattle Sounders (10-4-8) and will host Chivas USA next Sunday.
Toronto is 3-10-9 with 18 points and is tied for last place in the Eastern Conference with the Chicago Fre (2-6-12) and will play at Sporting Kansas City Saturday.
