Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders announced forward O'Brien White, who has been on the disabled list April 27 to undergo surgery for a blood clot, has been removed from the list Tuesday and is eligible to play immediately.
The Sounders hosts the Los Angeles Galaxy in a Lamar Hunt US Open Cup tournament quarterfinal Wednesday at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA, then return to MLS play Saturday against the defending league champion Colorado Rapids.
Before playing his last game April 22, White had started all seven games for Seattle and had two goals and two assists.
He was acquired by Seattle in a trade with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
