Neil Shafer's unassisted goal allowed the Pittsburgh Riverhounds to play host FC New York to a 1-1 draw Saturday in USL PRO play from Belson Stadium at St. John's University.
Qwame Holder scored FC New York's goal off an Owen Morrison assist.
The Riverhounds are 5-9-5 with 20 points and tied for third place in the National Division with the Los Angeles Blues (5-4-5). Pittsburgh will host the Dayton Dutch Lions Wednesday at Chartiers Valley High School, then faces the division-leading Rochester Ravens this Friday at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, NY.
FC New York is 4-8-6 with 18 points and is in fifth place in the division. They will host the Wilmington Hammerheads July 29/
