Cesar Rivera had a pair of goals and Mehrshad Momeni and Gerardo Bravo added goals as the host Los Angeles Blues defeated the Dayton Dutch Lions 4-1 Sunday in USL PRO's lone game of the night at Norco College.
Eric Kissinger put the Dutch Lions up 1-0 to start the scoring but could not answer further and had to finish the game two men down when goalkeeper Brian Vickers and defender Shane Smith were ejected.
Los Angeles is in third place in the National Division at 6-4-5 with 23 points and hit the road this week for games Friday at City Stadium against the Richmond Kickers and Saturday at Skyline Sports Complex against the Harrisburg City Islanders.
Dayton remains the worst team in the National Diviison and the league at 1-11-5 with eight points. The Dutch Lions face the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on the road Wednesday, then host the Charleston Battery Saturday at Miami Valley South Stadium.
