Red Bulls Take Home Emirates Cup Without Working Very Hard

Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls became the third team to hoist the Emirates Cup in London over its five-year existence after playing host Arsenal to a 1-1 draw Sunday to win the title with a 1-0-1 record.

The other teams to win it have been Arsenal and Germany's Hamburg.

Arsenal took the lead in the game three minutes before halftime when Tomas Rosicky assisted Robin Van Persie, but gave it away in the 84th minute when Kyle Bartley scored an own goal for the Red Bulls.

The Red Bulls return to MLS play Saturday when they face Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.
