Rangers Forward Reinhold Signs Two-Year Deal With Portugal First Division Club

After undergoing a recent trial period with them, forward Dominic Reinhold of the USL Premier Development League's New Jersey Rangers Thursday signed a two-year contract to play for Sport Clube Beira-Mar in Portugal's first division.

The native of Wesseling, Germany began his career playing for some of his country's top youth teams before coming to the US to play collegiately at Farleigh Dickinson University.

At FDU, he was the 2009 Northeast Conference's Rookie of the Year and, in 2010, was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the All-North All-Second Team and was a first team member on the All-NEC Team.

In 2010 with the Rangers, he scored three in his first three games, winning USL PDL Player of the Week honors, and eventually finished second in the league's Rookie of the Year race behind Brent Richards of Portland Timbers U-23s, who was also named the PDL's Most Valuable Player.
