Rangers Defeat The Knights At Metropolitan Oval

Tatenda Chinhanda, Renan Lopes and Kevin Zalawski scored goals as the New Jersey Rangers edged the Brooklyn Knights 3-2 Sunday in USL Premier Development League play at the Metropolitan Oval.

Adam Maabdu had both of Brooklyn's goals in the loss.

The Rangers are 5-9-0 with 11 points and are tied for sixth in the Eastern Conference - Mid-Atlantic Division with the Bermuda Hogges (3-7-3). New Jersey has been penalized four standings points this season for rules violations.

New Jersey hosts the the Ocean City Nor'Easters Wednesday at Morris Catholic High School.

Brooklyn is in last place in the division and has the worst record in the PDL at 1-11-1 with four points. They travel to the Bermuda Athletic Association Saturday to play with the Hogges.
