Steve Palumbo had goals in the 11th and 64th minute off assists by Jesse Schram and Charlie Roche, respectively, and assisted on Mike Adam's 44th minute goal as the host New Hampshire Phantoms pulled the plug on the Vermont Voltage 5-1 Wednesday in USL Premier Development League play at Portsmouth High School.
Schram also assisted on a 10th minute goal by Chris Tsonis, who later assisted James Goodwin on a 19th minute strike for New Hampshire.
Brian Green had the Voltage's lone goal unassisted in the 48th minute.
The Phantoms are in third place in the Eastern Conference's Northeast Division at 4-5-2 with 14 points and will play a home-and-home weekend series with the Western Mass Pioneers, hosting them Sunday at Portsmouth after facing them at Lusitano Stadium Saturday.
The Voltage are 2-6-3 with nine points and is in last place, but will host the MPS Portland Phoenix Saturday at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex.
