The NSC Minnesota Stars of the North American Soccer League announced Wednesday they have again acquired midfielder/defender Scott Lorenz from Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City on a loan for the rest of the NASL season.
Lorenz started 16 of 19 regular season games for the Stars last season in the USSF Division 2 Pro League, assisting on one goal, and played in both of the team's postseason games.
With Sporting Kansas Cith this season, he has started one MLS game against the Chicago Fire, five in the MLS Reserve League, and two in Lamar Hunt US Open Cup play.
Lorenz could play for the Stars next Wednesday when they travel to Saputo Stadium to face the Montreal Impact.
