Kameron Teel assisted Nick Tierno on the final goal of the game in the 69th minute as the Ocean City Nor'Easters and the host New Jersey Rangers played to a 2-2 draw Wednesday in USL Premier Development League action from Morris Catholic High School.
Terry Gibbs' unassisted goal in the fifth minute gave Ocean City the eventual halftime lead, then, following Mark Leslie scoring an own goal for New Jersey to tie the game at 1-1 in the 52nd minute, Tatenda Chimanda assisted on a score a minute later by Kevin Zalewski to give the Rangers a 2-1 lead.
The Rangers, despite being penalized four points for league violations, is 5-9-1 with 12 points and are tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference's Mid-Atlantic Division with the Central Jersey Spartans (3-8-3).
New Jersey will take on the Long Island Rough Riders Sunday at Cy Donnelly Stadium.
Ocean City is in eighth place in the division at 1-6-7 with 10 points and will host the Westchester Flames Sunday at Carey Stadium.
