Lamar Neagle assisted on a Nate Jaqua goal in the 18th minute, then converted a penalty kick in the 31st minute as the Seattle Sounders, the lone undefeated team in Major League Soccer's Reserve League, defeated the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 at the Galaxy's practice facility Tuesday.
Adam Cristman scored for the Galaxy in the 74th minute off a Jack McBean assist.
The Sounders lead the West Division and the league at 7-0-0 with 21 points, while the Galaxy are 1-5-0 with three points and are in fifth place in the West Division.
Both teams will meet the Vancouver Whitecaps on the road in their next match -- the Galaxy July 31, the Sounders August 9.
