Luke Mulholland scored in the ninth minute off a Manny Guzman assist, then later assisted Tanner Wolfe on a 47th minute goal as the host Wilmington Hammerheads shut out the Charlotte Eagles 3-0 in USL PRO play Saturday from Legion Stadium in Wilmington, NC.
Andryi Budnyy added an unassisted goal for Wilmington in the 31st minute.
The Hammerheads are tied for second place in the American Division standings with the Richmond Kickers at 10-6-3 with 38 points. Wilmington hits the road this weekend for games Friday at FC New York and next Saturday at the Harrisburg City Islanders.
