United Soccer League, who recently announced their I-League has merged with the Major Indoor Soccer League, with USL taking over operation of the league, announced Thursday at league headquarters in Tampa that the Syracuse, NY franhchise in the MISL will be called the Syracuse Silver Knights and they will play home games beginning in November at 5,300-seat Onondaga County War Memorial Arena.
Speaking at the press conference were team president Tommy Tanner, general manager Jonathan Ramin, vice president Peter Ramin, and chief financial officer Doug Taylor.
