Gavin Smith scored a goal for the St. Louis Lions and Oscar Zaleya assisted Jonathan Hinds on a play for the host Springfield (MO) Demize in a 1-1 draw in USL Premier Development League play as part of Springfield's home finale at the Cooper Sports Complex.
The Demize's season ends at 1-12-3 with six points and in last place in the Central Conference's Heartland Division.
St. Louis, at 4-6-5 with 17 points and in fourth place in the division, will end their 2011 regular and home season next Sunday against the Des Moines Menace at the Tony Glavin Complex.
