Ryan Maloney had two goals and an assist, Jonathan Valenzuela had a goal and an assist and David Dodge posted a goal as the Central Florida Kraze defeated host Fort Lauderdale Schulz Academy 4-2 Friday in USL Premier Development League play at Central Broward Regional Park.
The win put the Kraze into a tie for the lead in the Southern Conference's Southeast Division with the Mississippi Brilla at 7-2-2 with 23 points. Central Florida takes on the Nashville Metros this Friday at Ezell Park Stadium.
Sallim Dahman and Jeffrey McDonald scored the academy's goals and the team is in fifth place in the division at 2-7-3 with nine points. They will host the Brilla Sunday.
