Kickers Score Three Unanswered Goals In Win Over Dutch Lions

Dabid Bulow assisted Ryan Heins on a 30th minute goal and converted a penalty kick in the 53rd minute to lead the Richmond Kickers to a 3-1 victory over the Dayton Dutch Lions at City Stadium in Richmond, VA in USL PRO play on the Fourth of July.

Stanley Nyazamba connected with Edson Elcock on a 74th minute goal for the Kickers, who were down 0-1 in the 13th minute when Joe Tait scored on a penalty kick goal.

The Kickers are 8-4-3 with 27 points and are in second place in the American Division. They will play a home-and-home series this weekend with the Charlotte Eagles, beginning Friday at City Stadium, then ending Saturday at Charlotte Christian Stadium.

Dayton has the worst record in the National Division and the league ate 1-10-2 with five points. The Dutch Lions will travel to the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orando to meet the American Division-leading Orlando City Soccer Club Friday, then head to Skyline Sports Complex in Harrisburg, PA to face the Harrisburg City Islanders Sunday.
