Abraham Gomez assisted on goals by Wilson Neto and Felipe Souza in the 64th and 76th minute and inserted an unassisted 67th minute goal onto the scoreboard as the host Thunder Bay Chill shut out expansion WSA Winnipeg 4-0 in USL Premier Development League play at Chapples Park to end a two-game series.
Brandon Swartendruber opened the scoring for the Central Conference - Heartland Division leaader with a goal in the first minute by Victor Nascimento.
The Chill is now 11-2-1 with 34 points and have clinched a playoff berth, but will end their 2011 regular season with a two-game series July 22 and 23 at home against the Real Colorado Foxes.
WSA ended its debut season in the PDL at 3-12-1 with 10 points.
