Garber Names SKC's Bravo, Red Bulls' Agudelo To All-Star Team

Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber announced Saturday he has selected forwards Omar Bravo of Sporting Kansas City and Juan Agudelo of the New York Red Bulls as representatives to the 2011 MLS All-Star Game, set for July 27 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ against Manchester United of the English Premier League.

Bravo has scored four goals and two assists in 12 games with the former Kansas City Wizard and helped the team go from last place in the Eastern Conference standings to their current 10-game unbeaten streak.

Agudelo, the league's first Homegrown Player named to the team, has four goals in 14 games this season.

New York head coach Hans Backe, who will coach the All-Star team, will announce his roster for the game, based on the players named in fan and text voting to be part of the game, Monday at a press conference.
