Fury Sweep W-League Individual 2011 Statistical Awards

When your team finishes any season of any sport undefeated, it's pretty much a given that team will have some players win some postseason individual awards and the Ottawa Fury, who ended the 2011 USL W-League season at 12-0-0 for the first time in franchise history, did just that Tuesday.

The league announced Tuesday forward Mallory Outerbridge won their Scoring Champion and Goal Scoring Champion titles, with 37 points on 17 goals and three assists;  midfielder Teresa Rynier was named the Assist Champion with eight in 12 games, and goalkeeper Jasmine Phillips won the Goals Against Average Championship with a .526 average after going 11-0-0 with four shutouts.
