Ben Fisk's 89th minute unassisted goal gave the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps a 2-1 victory over the host Tacoma Tide Friday in USL Premier Development League play at Curtis High School in Tacoma, WA.
Yassin Essa opened the scoring for Vancouver in the fifth minute off a pass from Caleb Clarke for the eventual halftime lead, but Cal Vickers assisted Tacoma's Kellen Brown in the 46th minute to tie the game.
The Whitecaps are tied with the Victoria Highlanders for second place in the Western Conference's Norhwest Division at 6-4-2 with 20 points.
Vancouver plays the Portland Timbers U-23s Sunday at Portland's Hare Field.
Tacoma, in last place at 1-10-3 with six points, hosts the Abbotsford Mariners Sunday.
