Major League Soccer's FC Dallas released forwards Milton Rodriguez and Peri Marosevic Thursday.
Rodriguez, who joined the team May 13, 2010 after scoring a league-best six goals and an assist in 15 games for Colombia's Real Cartagena, was Dallas' third-highest goal scorer in the 2010 season with five in 13 games.
He played in every FC Dallas game this season through May 7 before being diagnosed with IT band syndrome.
Rodriguez also played three games for Colombia's men's national team.
Marosevic, the team's fifth overall pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft from the University of Michigan, played in four games that season and scored one goal this season in the MLS Reserve League.
