Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham and Portland Timbers goalkeeper Troy Perkins were selected by Major League Soccer fans as winner of the Week 17 AT&T Goal of the Week and the league's Save of the Week voting.
Beckham received 37% of online and text votes, slightly edging Seattle's Fredy Montero, who got 34%.
Luke Rodgers of the New York Red Bulls (16%), Dwayne De Rosario of DC United (9%) and Conor Casey of the defending league champion Colorado Rapids (4%) rounded out the Week 17 ballot.
Perkins captured 61% of the votes cast, doubling the amount (30%) received for the Rapids' Matt Pickens.
Fellow nominees Dan Kennedy of Chivas USA (4%), Jon Busch of the San Jose Earthquakes (3%) and Joe Cannon of the Vancouver Whitecaps (2%) finished third through fifth in this week's voting.
