Express Needs Only 12 Minutes To Beat Rangers At NJIT

William Stamatis (seventh minute) and Shaun Foster (12th minute) scored unassisted goals as the host Jersey Express needed very little time to defeat the New Jersey Rangers 2-0 in the lone USL Premier Development League game Thursday at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

The Express are in third place in the Eastern Conference's Mid-Atlantic Division at 8-2-1 with 25 points and will next host the Long Island Rough Riders next Wednesday at Raritan High School in Haslet, NJ.

The Rangers are 4-8-0 with eight points after a four-point league deduction for rules violations and is in sixth place in the division. New Jersey will host the Bermuda Hogges Friday at Morris Catholic High School.
