Dynamo Wins For First Time In A Month; Toronto FC Drops Another Road Game

Danny Cruz scored in the 50th minute off a Brian Ching assist and Geoff Cameron had an unassisted goal as the Houston Dynamo won their first Major League Soccer game since June 11 and their third game in a row as they shut out Toronto FC 2-0 Saturday at Robertson Stadium in Houston.

Toronto FC has lost four of their last five games and is winless on the road this season.

The Dynamo are 5-6-8 with 23 points and are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Houston will host Sporting Kansas City next Saturday.

Toronto FC is 3-9-9 with 18 points and is tied for seventh in the Eastern table with the Chicago Fire (2-5-12). Toronto hosts FC Dallas July 20 at BMO Field.
