Major League Soccer's DC United named Sonny Silooy, a veteran of over 30 years playing and coaching with AFC Ajax in Amsterdam and the Dutch National Team, was named an assistant coach Friday.
Silooy, who was last the head coach of the then-USL Premier Development League's Dayton Dutch Lions before the team chose to promote themselves into the new USL PRO, will world with head coach Ben Olsen in areas of scouting, video analysis and player development.
