Comets Get Rage Upset At Laval

Kylie Davies scored an 11th minute goal off a Claudia Tremblay assist and later assisted Catherine Charron-Delage as the host Laval Comets edged Hamilton FC Rage 3-2 Friday in USL Premier Development League play at the Bois-de-Boulogne Sports Center.

In between those goals, Virginia Rousseau added an unassisted 34th minute goal, and the Comets inproved to 5-2-2 with 17 points and are in second place in the Central Conference's Great Lakes Division. They will host the division-leading Ottawa Fury (7-0-0, 21) next Sunday, who they trail by five points in the standings.

Sam Valliany gave a valiant effort for the Rage with back-to-back goals in the 76th and 79th minute, assisted by Christabel Oduro and Angelika Eremevich, respectively. Hamitlon is in sixth place in the division and is 2-5-1 with seven points. They will attempt an upset victory over the Fury next Saturday.
