Andrew Welker and Sainey Nyassi had a pair of goals each as the host Harrisburg City Islanders grounded the Charlotte Eagles 4-0 Saturday at Skyline Sports Complex to extend their undefeated streak in USL PRO to four games and the Eagles snapped a seven-game unbeaten streak.
The City Islanders are 7-4-3 with 24 points and are second in the National Division standings, four points behind the Rochester Rhinos (8-4-3, 27) for the league lead. Harrisburg hosts the Dayton Dutch Lions next Sunday.
Charlotte, 5-5-3 with 18 points, is in last place in the American Division and travels to FC New York Monday and the Richmond Kickers Friday.
