Ching Brace Guides Dynamo In Breaking Sounders' Winning Streak

Brian Ching returned to the Houston Dynamo following a league suspension in a big way with two goals in a 3-1 victory over the Seattle Sounders Saturday at Robertson Stadium that ended Seattle's nine-game Major League Soccer unbeaten streak.

Colin Clark put the first goal on the scoreboard for the Dynamo, who have won two of their last seven games.

Alvaro Fernandez had the lone Seattle goal.

Houston is 6-7-9 with 27 points and tied for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with Sporting Kansas City (6-6-9) and will face the Philadelphia Union next Saturday at PPL Park in Chester, PA.

Seattle is 10-5-8 with 38 points and is third place in the Western Conference standings and two points behind FC Dallas (11-5-6, 39) for sole possession of second place. The Sounders head to Sporting Kansas City, who have yet to lose this season at Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City, KS, next Saturday.
