Gustavo Oliveira's 21st minute goal off a Brandon Swartzendruber assist was the only point of the game as the Thunder Bay Chill shut out the host St. Louis Lions Sunday in USL Premier Development League play at the Tony Glavin Complex.
The Chill, in third place in the Central Conference's Heartland Division at 7-1-0 with 21 points, continues its road trip Wednesday against the division-leading Real Colorado Foxes at Shea Stadium, then heads to Valley Stadium in West Des Moines, IA for a weekend series Friday and Saturday.
St. Louis, in fourth place at 3-6-3 with 12 points, hosts WSA Winnipeg Saturday.
