Ashton Campbell's hat trick and a lone goal by Ben Truax gave the host Akron Summit Assault a 4-2 victory over Hamilton FC Rage in a battle of USL Premier Development League's expansion teams in the Central Conference's Great Lakes Division Saturday at St. Vincent-St. Mary's High School.
Khody Ellis and Aaron Boyd scored points for the Rage.
Both teams, along with the Indiana Invaders, share fourth place in the division at 5-7-3 and 18 points.
Akron will meet the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park in Bridegview, IL next Sunday in their season finale and Hamilton will travel to the Ottawa Fury Wednesday to end their 2011 campaign at Algonquin College Soccer Complex.
