Bryan Burke assisted on Robbie Christner's 44th minute goal, then scored an unassisted 84th minute after Warlen Silva scored a minute prior as the Kitsap Pumas shut out the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency 3-0 in Kitsap's USL Premier Development League 2010 season home finale Saturday at Bremerton Memoral Stadium.
The Pumas are the 2011 Western Conference - Northwest Division regular season champion at 12-0-3 with 35 points, despite a four-point deduction due to violating league rules and will end the season this Saturday against the Victoria Highlanders at Victoria's Royal Athletic Park.
The Whitecaps, 6-5-3 with 21 points, are tied for thrd place in the division with the Abbotsford Mariners (6-6-3). Vancouver's home finale will be Wednesday at Simon Fraser University against the expansion North Sound Sea Wolves and close the book on the regular seasons next Sunday at Redmond High School in Redmond, WA against the Washington Crossifre.
