Ashley Burbeary and Jordie Hughes each has a pair of goals as the host Victoria Highlanders shut out the expansion North Sound SeaWolves 4-0 Saturday is USL Premier Development League action from Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, British Colombia.
Paul Van Den Bommen assisted on Burbeary's 11th minute goal and Tyler Hughes helped out on an 85th minute goal.
Hughes was assisted by Jared Stephens on a 44th minute goal and knocked in an unassisted shot in the final minute of regulation play.
The Highlanders, 7-4-2 with 23 points and in second place in the Western Conference's Northwest Division, plays their final two regular season games at Bear Mountain Stadium -- July 23 against the Kitsap Pumas and July 24 against the Abbotsford Mariners.
North Sound, at 4-5-4 with 16 points, are in sixth place and host the Pumas Wednesday at Goddard Memorial Stadium.
