Ricardo Yeverino needed only four minutes and help from Cole Prather to put the Kansas City Brass on the scoreboard and Kyle Greig and Brian Harris hit unassisted strikes in the 16th and 45th minute as they shut out the host Springfield Demize 3-0 in USL Premier Development League play Saturday at Cooper Sports Complex.
The Brass are 4-5-3 with 15 points and are tied for fourth place in the Central Conference's Heartland Division with the St. Louis Lions (4-6-3), who they host Wednesday at the Overland Park Soccer Complex.
Springfield remains in the division's cellar at 1-12-2 with five points. They will host the Lions next Saturday.
