Fresno Fuego forward Milton Blanco was named Wednesday the 2011 USL Premier Development League's Points and Assists Champion with 38 points on 12 goals and 14 assists, beating Chandler Hoffman of the Orange County Blue Star by two points at 36.
Westchester Flames forward Jake Keegan won the league's Golden Boot with 16 goals over the 16-game season, beating Indiana Invaders forward Adam Mena with 14.
Keegan scored all but nine of his team's 25 goals this season, but it wasn't enough to allow the Flames to make the postseason, finishing with a 6-6-4 record in the Eastern Conference's Mid-Atlantic Division.
Thunder Bay Chill goalkeeper Stephen Paterson won the Goals Against Average title with a .503 average in 12 games this season.
The PDL will name its 2011 All-Conference Teams this coming Monday, followed by the naming of its All-League Team the next day and the individual award finalists for Coach, Rookie and Defender of the Year, as well as the Most Valuable Player, next Wednesday in advance of the league's 2011 PDL Championship Weekend Banquet, to be held next Thursday in a location to be announced after this weekend's tournament play ends.
At the banquet, the league will also announced the winner of the Goalkeeper of the Year award.
