Alex Caskey's goal off a Mike Zaher assist in the 62nd minute was the lone goal as the host Charleston Battery shut out the best team in USL PRO, the American Division-leading Orlando City Soccer Club, 1-0 Saturday at Blackbaud Stadium.
The Battery are in third place in the division at 8-6-4 with 28 points, while Orlando City is now at 11-3-6 with 29 points.
Charleston is back in action at home Thursday against the Wilmington Hammerheads, while Orlando City hosts the Rochester Rhinos next Saturday.
