Christian Barrero had a pair of goals and Evans Frimpong scored one and assisted on Barrero's second goal as Reading United AC defeated the host Ocean City Nor'Easters 4-1 Sunday in USL Premier Development League play at Carey Stadium in Ocean City, NJ.
Matthew Sanner also scored for United, leader of the Eastern Conference - Mid-Atlantic Division at 12-1-0 with 36 points.
Reading is off this weekend, but will next face the Long Island Rough Riders next Wednesday at Dowling College in Brookhaven, NY.
Christopher Williams had an unassisted 36th minute goal for Ocean City, 1-6-6 with nine points and in eighth place in the division. They will take on the New Jersey Rangers this Wednesday at Morris Catholic High School.
