Barbara Scores For RailHawks In Weather-Shortened Contest With Silverbacks

Etienne Barbara scored the game's lone goal unassisted in the eighth minute as the North American Soccer League's best team, the Carolina RailHawks, shut out the Atlanta Silverbacks 1-0 in a game called in the 50th minute by the officiating crew due to severe weather moving over WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC Saturday.

The RailHawks improved their league-best record to 14-2-2 with 44 points and will face the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at Lockhart Stadium next Saturday.

Atlanta, at 3-12-3 with 12 points and tied with the Montreal Impact (2-9-6) for the league's worst team, will host FC Tampa Bay next Saturday.
