Barancoski Brace Gives Fury Win Over Lynx

Fabricio Barancoski scored goals off Steven Kane in the 21st minute and Keegan Ziada in the 65th to lead the Ottawa Fury to a 2-1 victory over the host Toronto Lynx Wednesday in USL Premier Development League play at Centennial Park Stadium.

Toronto's lone goal, in the 90th minute, came as an own goal by Ottawa.

Ottawa is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference's Northeast Division at 3-5-3 with 17 points. They will travel Thursday to the German Club to meet Forest City London, then will host the MPS Portland Phoenix Sunday at Algonquin College Soccer Complex.

Toronto, 5-6-0 with 15 points, is in a four-way tie for fourth place in the Central Conference's Great Lakes Division with expansion teams Hamilton FC Rage and Akron Summit Assault (both 4-5-3) and established franchise Indiana Invaders (4-6-3). The Lynx host the Chicago Fire Sunday.
