McCall Zerboni had a pair of goals and assisted Brittany Bock on the game's first goal in the tenth minute as Women's Professional Soccer's best team, the expansion Western New York Flash, edged the Boston Breakers 3-2 Friday at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, NY.
Kim Brandao and Gemma Davidson assisted Zerboni on her goals as the Flash, formerly the Buffalo Flash of the USL W-League, improved to 4-0-1 with 13 points. They will host magicJack FC next Sunday.
Liz Bogus had a brace for the Breakers, who are 2-4-0 with six points and in third place in the league standings. Boston will host the Philadelphia Independence this Sunday at Harvard University.
