Third Straight Flash Player Takes WPS Player Of The Week Award

Three weeks ago, it was Christine Sincair who won it.

Last week, it was Marta who won it.

This week, Western New York Flash midfielder McCall Zerboni was named Wednesday Women's Professional Soccer's Player of the Week for Week 6 of the 2011 season, the third member of the team to win it.

Zerboni scored two goals, including the tie-breaking goal, and assisted on the opening goal of the game by Brittany Bock as the Flash edged the Boston Breakers 3-2 Friday at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, NY.
