FC Tampa Bay goalkeeper Daryl Sattler is out for the rest of the 2011 North American Soccer League season after the team announced Tuesday he tore an anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during last Saturday's 1-1 draw against the Atlanta Silverbacks.
He started all four games for Tampa Bay this season and has two shutouts, both coming against the Montreal Impact.
Sattler was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week in Week 3 of the 2011 season.
In 2010, Sattler started 24 of 30 regular season games in the USSF Division 2 Pro League, had four shutouts and had a goals against average of 1.42.
