Shea Hits Game-Winning Goal As FC Dallas Stuns Galaxy At Home

Brek Shea scored the game-winning goal off a Zach Loyd pass in the 88th minute as FC Dallas got past Major League Soccer's defending Supporters Shield and Western Conference regular season champion in the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 Sunday at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

After a scoreless first half, Andrew Jacobson and Jackson Goncalves teamed to assist Fabian Castillo on Dallas' first goal in the second minute of the second half, which was countered four minutes when Juninho and Juan Pablo Angel worked to get the ball to Landon Donovan for the tying goal.

The Galaxy retains the best record in MLS and the Western Conference at 4-2-3 with 15 points and will host Real Salt Lake this Saturday.

FC Dallas is in a three-way for fourth in the conference with the defending league champion Colorado Rapids and the expansion Portland Timbers, all at 3-3-1 with 10 points. Dallas will travel to DC United this Saturday.
