Jayro Martinez and Ryan Shaw scored unassisted goals in the 31st and 70th minute, respectively, as the Southern California Seahorses shut out the host LA Blues 2-0 Saturday in USL Premier Development League play at Palisades High School.
The Seahorses are now 2-1-0 with six points and are in fourth place in the Western Conference's Southwest Division. They will travel to Orange County Blue Star Wednesday.
The Blues, 0-3-1 with a point, are tied for last in the division with the Ogden Outlaws (0-2-1), BYU Cougars (same) and the Los Angeles Legends (0-3-1). They will host the Ventura County Fusion June 2.
