Sarte Leads Rough Riders Over Express

Dominic Sarte had an unassisted goal in the 71st minute and assisted Guy-Roland Kpene on an 88th minute score as the host Long Island Rough Riders beat the Jersey Express 3-1 Saturday in USL Premier Development League play at MacArthur High School.

Tyler Arnone scored for Long Island in the 48th minute off an Adriano Gabriele assist.

William Stamatis, in the final minute of regulation play, had Jersey's lone goal.

The Rough Riders (4-0-0, 12) are tied for the lead in the Eastern Conference's Mid-Atlantic Division with Reading United AC (same record).
