Sanders Goals Roll Tide Into Draw With Crossfire

Chris Sanders scored off a penalty kick in the 81st minute, then was assisted by Austin Kelly on an 87th minute goal as the Tacoma Tide came back from two goals down to force a draw with the host Washington Crossfire in USL Premier Development League action Monday from Redmond High School in Redmond, WA.

Washington scored in the ninth minute by an unassisted goal from Alex Klein for the eventual halftime, then Brad Keller assisted on a Mark Conrad goal in the 63rd minute.

Tacoma (0-0-2, two points) and Washington (0-2-2) are tied for fifth place in the Western Conference's Northwest Division with the expansion North Sound Seawolves (0-0-2).
